| The Yamaha RX-V650 receiver provides high sound quality, surround realism, and is easy to use. At 665 watts, it delivers enough power for any home theater system, making it a good, moderately priced choice. The receiver includes Dolby Digital Pro Logic IIx compatibility, quad field Cinema DSP and 29 surround programs. This unit is compatible with all the latest movie sound formats, including DTS 96/24. Other features include analog mixdown, linear damping, subwoofer output, speaker A, B and A+B, preset remote control, a sleep timer and 4-station preset tuning. Add a direct stereo mode (great for classical programming,)easy menu set-up, and front connectors, and this unit delivers compelling audio.
